TCT saw blades are usually of split structure:
Substrate (body): It is usually made of spring steel or 65Mn (manganese steel) with toughness, and is responsible for transmitting power and keeping the saw blade stable.
Cutter head (tooth tip): weld a small piece of hard alloy on the tooth base of the base by high-frequency welding or laser welding.
The core idea of this structure is to use the hardened alloy as the cutting part and the toughest steel as the supporting part.
Extremely high hardness: the hardness can reach HRA 89-93 (approximately equivalent to HRC 70-75) at normal temperature, much higher than HSS high-speed steel.
Red hardness: when the cutting temperature reaches 800-1000 ℃, it can still maintain high hardness (while HSS will be significantly softened when exceeding 600 ℃).
Strong abrasion resistance: its abrasion resistance is dozens of times of that of ordinary high-speed steel.
