Internal Scarfing Blade

Two major problems with internal burrs:

1. Obstruction of medium flow: in pipelines transporting oil, natural gas or water, the protruding burr will significantly increase the friction resistance, affect the conveying efficiency, and even cause vibration and noise due to eddy current in serious cases.

2. Disturbance to mechanical bore: Any detection equipment, cleaning tools or joints that need to pass through the pipe may be blocked by internal burrs during subsequent machining. A set of reliable scraping system is to ensure the "diameter" function of the pipeline and clear the obstacles for the subsequent processes.

Operating principle of internal burr scarfing system:

1. Support and positioning: The system usually includes guide wheel and support wheel, which are close to the pipe wall, and stabilize the holder in the pipe at the center line of the pipe or directly below the weld joint, so as to ensure that the scarfing blade can accurately align the burr.

2. Force scraping: apply a controllable and continuous pressure to the holder through hydraulic cylinder or cylinder and other power components, push the blade against the hot weld, and strip the burr from the base like a planer.

3. Self-adaption adjustment: As the pipe may swing slightly during production, a good system must have a certain floating or self-adaptive capacity. The holder can "follow" through the guide wheel and other mechanisms to ensure the uniformity and stability of the scraping.
